Americana

Music that defies categories, yet clearly has American Roots

About Us

image1

Our Story

We go back to the 1992.  Our founding principal was simple - there is a lot of great music out there underserved by mainstream media and recording companies.  That stinks for us all, the music fan and artist alike because that music deserves to be heard.  This is why we exist...to find talent, help it to grow, and let it loose.

What We Do

We assist in the production of Americana music, from concept to finished product, and ensure that it gets professionally promoted.

Our Goals

We have a growing list of Artists that we know bring a lot to the table.  Our goal is to continue to expand their presence and get their music heard.

HENRY

HENRY is Stan Chew's latest release on GTYR records after many years spent traveling and living overseas.  The album roams across Stan's vision of Americana music, from bluegrass and folk to alternative country and acoustic jazz with seven of the eight songs written by Chew.  The musicians who contributed on HENRY have all played professionally with Stan in both Minnesota and New Hampshire.  The recording was engineered by Carter Wilcox at Hagstrom House Studios in Stillwater MN.  The final mix/mastering and post production was done by Bob Catalano of BobCat Studios in NH.
